Kapamilya stars share their plans for the New Year..

ABS-CBN.com asks your favorite Kapamilya stars about their personal resolutions for 2010. Jake Cuenca: Siguro I’ll try to involve myself more in charity work. I want to be able to thank those people who supported me and also those who are less fortunate. Hindi lang sa 2010 pero sana mapagpatuloy ko sa mga susunod na taon pa. Matt Evans: Sinisimulan ko nang mag-work out at mag-diet. Hopefully next year makita niyo na ang sexier Matt Evans sa 2010. ‘Wag naman sa January agad, ha ha ha! Siguro mga March para timing sa summer. Tom Rodriguez: I remain grounded. Whatever happens I hope I can remain to be humble. Maraming nagre-remind sa akin na huwag lalaki ang ulo ko. I always tell them na hindi mangyayari ‘yun. I’ll want to make sure na mapanindigan ko ‘yun. I believe kasi na lahat tayo pantay pantay. Hopefully my views stay the same. Kaye Abad: Siguro magpapalaman ako nang konti kasi sinasabihan na ako na ang payat payat ko na, ang pangit na tingnan sa screen. Pumayat ako dahil sa sunod sunod na taping. Kadalasan ‘yung oras na dapat kumain ako e matutulog na lang ako. Plano kong magpalaman next year. Kaya lang tamad ako mag-gym. Siguro I’ll just eat the right food at vitamins para kahit papaano tumaba ako. Enchong Dee: Magsisipag na siguro ako mag-work out. Kasi lumalaki na ‘yung tiyan ko, ha ha ha!Robi Domingo: Wala pa akong maisip na resolution. I will just make sure na gagalingan ko pa sa bawat trabahong ibibigay sa akin.

MANILA, Philippines – When TriNoma opened in Quezon City in 2007, QC residents (myself included) were elated that Ayala Malls was finally coming to their neighborhood. A finalist on ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition and a Myx VJ like Nikki, Robi comes from a family of doctors. His mother is a pediatrician and his father is a surgeon. His long-term goal is to become a doctor, but in the meantime, he manages quite skillfully to balance his time between studying, sports, and his showbiz career. “When I’m in TriNoma, I eat, I get packages from Bench (which he endorses) Skechers, hang out with friends, watch movies with my brother Maro and just relax.”Having grown up in the Commonwealth area of Quezon City and studying in Ateneo on Katipunan Avenue, for him TriNoma makes for a convenient hangout with friends and family.“Dos amigos lang kami ni Maro,” he says of his 15-year-old sibling, whom he took out for a movie at the TriNoma Cinemas for his birthday. When he was about to enter Kuya’s House for Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition, Robi and his classmates watched a movie and “we said our last goodbyes in the mall,” he says with a laugh.Robi’s TV career includes celebrity guestings on variety shows like Pilipinas Game KNB?, The Singing Bee, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, and Wowowee.Like Victor, Robi is also into sports — basketball, baseball and swimming.How is it that the young stars get to roam the mall without being mobbed? For one, the TriNoma crowd is not the mobbing kind and the two boys always wear a baseball cap, which they swear works.“I usually wear a cap and do my own thing,” says Robi. “By the time people recognize me, I’m far away from them already. I don’t mind that kind of attention. After all, I owe the people what I have now. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have been a Pinoy Big Brother finalist.”“All work and no play makes Robi a dull boy,” he says. “You have to count in leisure time in your schedule and malling is my leisure.”

Jessie Mendiola has no idea why Robi Domingo stopped courting her

When Jessie Mendiola and Robi Domingo were still working together on Your Song Presents Boystown last summer, there were rumors that a romance was brewing between them. But when ABS-CBN.com caught up with Jessie during the Star Magic birthday presscon last December 9, she revealed that Robi is not courting her anymore. As a matter of fact, it’s not even clear to her if their closeness really went beyond mere friendship. “Nag-stop nga siya e. Kasi hindi ko alam na nanliligaw pala siya. Nanliligaw ba yung nagbibigay ng white flowers. Nanliligaw yun ‘di ba? Kasi yun ang favorite ko, white roses.”

Though she’s a bit confused why she and Robi grew apart, the young Fil-British beauty claimed that it’s all for the best since entering a serious relationship would only distract them from their other priorities. “Hindi ko naman siya dinededma. Naging close kami ni Robi kasi same kami ng interests and personality na nagdyo-joke out of the blue. But I guess hindi lang talaga nagwork out kasi I’m only 17 and he's 20.

Pero okay lang naman sa akin kasi ako din hindi ako ready magka-BF right now. Madami din akong inaasikaso sa school and sa work so hindi ko mapapagsabay-sabay. Mabre-break ko lang ang heart niya,” she explained.

Aside from Robi, the only other guy she’s comfortable with is Enchong Dee who was also her leading man in Boystown. When asked if the latter attempted to court her as well, Jessie said that he is more of a good friend to her than a potential boyfriend. “The way he treats me parang friend lang talaga. Kunwari magkikita kami, sasabihin niya agad, “Ano, kumusta na kayo ni Robi?’ Ganon siya. Tapos one time sa ASAP kumakain ako ang hirit ba naman, ‘Binigyan ka ng food ni Robi?’ Ako naman parang, ‘Hello, ano ba, ang kulit mo!’ Tapos talagang nagbibigay siya ng advice. Sweet si Enchong sa akin but in a friendly way. I don’t know kung meron siyang motive sa akin. Pero why not ‘di ba? Mabait naman siya,” she answered.

In the meantime, Jessie shared that she’s really excited because she’s going to start taping Kokey @ Ako on December 15. “Right now ginagawa ko yung Kokey @ Ako starring Angel Locsin and Vhong Navarro. I have also another project coming up pero hindi ko pa pwedeng banggitin. Siguro ang mabibigay kong clue, isa siyang show na kikiligin ang teens pati na rin matatanda kasi ito yung pagbabalik ng mga dati nilang idol.” Even though this means that she will be busy with work this holiday season, Jessie stressed that she has just started to enjoy life in showbiz and she is determined to grab the opportunities coming her way.
