Robi Domingo believes sex is sacred from PEP.ph by Rommel Placente

"I think that act for me is very sacred.

"Well, let's see. Let's see kung mahal ko talaga. Siyempre, love will dominate everything," sagot ni Robi.

RICHEST GIGGER BOY?

Good boy naman ako, di ba?

Gigger Boys immerse themselves in Boystown

"Boystown is not a prison," pointed out director Lino Cayetano. He will be helming the upcoming Your Song Presents Boystown starring Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo, AJ Perez, Chris Gutierrez, Aaron Villaflor, Dino Imperial and Sam Concepcion. Collectively known as ASAP's Gigger Boys, these young men immersed themselves in the real Boystown in Marikina to have a "feel" of the place.

The boys brought items as giveaways to the real boys of Boystown as they also interacted with the kids who were residing in the said area.

Catch the Giggger Boys in a different light in Your Song Presents Boystown, which will air soon on ABS-CBN.

Robi shed "good boy" image in Your Song Presents : Boystown by Nerisa Almo

Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus first runner up Robi Domingo is excited for the premiere of his new regular show, the mini-series called Your Song Presents: Boystown on Sunday, May 10.

The 19-year-old MYX veejay also expressed how happy he was because he's not only doing a guest role in this show. It can be remembered that as Vincent, Robi had a short appearance in the Philippine adaptation of the Korean drama series My Girl, which topbilled the young loveteam Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.

"Expect Vincent from My Girl to evolve to Arkin na," said Robi when asked what viewers can expect from him in this show, after the press conference of Boystown last night, May 5, at the Party Venue in Scout Tuason, Quezon City.

The incoming second year college student described his role as something that's very different from his real personality. Dito, medyo salbahe ako, maangas, at makikita nila na palagi akong nakasimangot," he added.

Do you think you can pull off such character since it's exactly the opposite of yourself?

"Sana, sana," he answered. Pero I know, since bago pa ako, there's still room for improvement. But I'll do whatever it takes to be a good actor."

WORKING WITH GIGGER BOYS Aside from having his first regular TV series, Robi is also grateful that he will be working with his fellow Gigger Boys namely Enchong Dee, Sam Concepcion, Dino Imperial, AJ Perez, Aaron Villaflor, and Chris Gutierrez.

"I'm very honored na kasama ko pa 'yong dance group namin sa ASAP '09 and nawala na 'yong barrier na, 'Uy, bago kong makakasama 'to so mahihiya ako o mate-threaten ako dito,'" said Robi.

Although there will be seven actors who will topbill the show, he clarified that they will be given equal parts in this mini-series.

He explained, "Lahat naman kami dito masasabi kong bida kasi we have our own plot.

The young celebrity also cleared that there will be no personal rivalry between him and Enchong Dee, since Arkin will be a villain to the former's character. "Enchong and I, we're good friends. We support each other lalo na sa rehearsals, nagpapaturo ako sa kanya, minsan nagpapaturo siya sa akin."

He even described how close he is to his groupmates, "Ayos naman kami, wala namang inggitan, wala namang kahit anong away."

Catch the all-male dance group Gigger Boys in the TV adaptation of the 1981 movie Boystown in Your Song Presents this Sunday, May 10, after ASAP '09.

Is there a brewing romance between Robi Domingo and Jessie Mendiola? by Rachelle Siazon | May 02, 2009 9:44 PM

Incoming second year college student Robi Domingo is happy that he was able to make the Dean’s List at Ateneo even though he is juggling school and showbiz at the same time. “Let’s just say that I am really happy with my status in Ateneo. It helps that the people around me are very supportive. Not only my family but even the people I work with. You just have to balance everything. And have fun doing it kasi kung hindi mo gusto yung ginagawa mo maapektuhan lang din nun yung performance mo,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN.com.

Aside from being a MYX VJ, Robi has landed his first starring role in Your Song Presents Boystown, where he plays the archrival of Enchong Dee, his fellow Gigger Boys member and former My Girl co-star as well. “What’s good is that I am going to work with people na nakakasama ko na saASAP. So I’m really thankful to ABS-CBN for giving me the chance to prove myself. Ako naman I am trying to do everything I can para magampanan ko yung role ko,” he explained.

The two are going to fight over a girl played by Jessie Mendiola from Star Magic Batch 15, who incidentally is rumored to be romantically involved with Robi in real life. When asked if he’s courting the pretty mestiza, the young heartthrob refused to answer and simply remarked that she is definitely girlfriend material. “Sino ba ang hindi magagandahan kay Jessie? Maganda siya, sobra. Ang galing ng casting sa Boystown. But let’s just say na we’re good friends.” What he likes most about her though is the fact that they really jive off the cam.

Does this mean he has forgotten about the non-showbiz girl that he has been pursuing for quite some time already? “All I can say is that I am happy with my life right now. Yun na lang muna,” he added with a smile.
